Klutz Book of Inventions review and giveaway!

   So... this blog is geared for inspiration, innovation and creation... and what better book to put a spotlight on, then The Klutz Book of Inventions. The story behind Klutz is inspiring in itself, but they have put together a great 200 page catalog of never before seen inventions that seem ridiculous. Scholastic gave me the opportunity of reviewing this book. When I got it in the mail, I sat right down and read right through it. I love to read anyways, but this is close to reading those dumbest criminal stories. I just kept turning the pages to see the next crazy invention. I have to admit though, that some of them seemed practical to me. I would definitely buy the Flip Up Car Sign. It is a sign that flips up at the touch of a button so when you go looking for where you parked your car after shopping you get a big sign that reads "Over here Idiot" pointing the way. Or, what about the genius invention of a double-barreled peanut butter jar. A regular peanut butter jar with two lids... one on the top and one on the bottom. This way you don't get messy getting the last bit out!

  Other contraptions shown in this book are not so practical however... like the bug zapper earrings, or flush and wash baskets....ewww! I can actually see fraternity guys washing their clothes this way lol. I got a great kick out of this book, and I'm going to pass it on to my oldest, who I know will also love reading it.
