Super Bowl Fun

Well ladies.....its here. The only game left is the Super Bowl! So why not host a get together and celebrate the end of the season...really the end :) I joke.. I support my husbands team, because its his team and I do look forward to some Sundays without hearing my husband yell at nfl players that don't hear him... So, knowing it's all coming to an end, I can let my hair down a little and get in the spirit. Here are some fun ideas I found online, and since I have my football nut husband and 3 boys, I'm definitely going to be getting in on some of this!

Activity ideas (found these over the web)
(party411.com)
pass the cup
It’s simple, easy, and can make you and your guests some cash.

To Play

  • Basically the person holding the cup makes the rules. The person holding the cup says, for example, “Touch Down.” Then the cup gets passed and everyone adds a dollar. When there is a touch down the person holding the cup collects the money inside.
  • You can change up the words to First Down, 50-yard line etc.
  • A nice idea is to donate the money to a local food bank or charity of your choice.
Football trivia...

Go online and gather a bunch of facts and put them in question and answer form.
During commercial breaks or any breaks you get, test the guys' knowledge on their obsession!

I really liked this game idea from docsports.com:

"Hide the keys from your drunk friends so they don't get out on the road." If you can, video tape them and show that at your party next year. Police checkpoints are accelerated during Super Bowl Sunday, so make sure all of your madness stays inside of the house so you can play again next year.
