The Beginning Reader's Bible review

Every time I get a new book from Booksneeze, it seems I like it better then the last. The last one was really good, but this bible out of all the ones I have gotten my children... this one tops them all. I got The Beginning Reader's Bible that is illustrated by Marijke ten Cate. The illustrations is a huge part of why I love this book. He doesn't portray our favorite characters like every other one does. The emotion that is showed in the people is amazing. He did such a great job!
The text is hardly altered from the original text which my husband loves. It's not read like alot of the toddler ones. It has a place in the back for you to write the date down of when you have completed the stories in both testaments. Then it has guides for learning the books and apostles. It has prayers and songs to learn and also a place to write down when you have memorized the verses that correspond with the stories.
I can't say enough about this one, I am super happy that we have it in our collection. I love how they went about putting it together and also love that they ended this great book with the salvation prayer. Look at some of these adorable pictures :) My children love them, we have been consistent in reading this every night and I will definitely be grabbing more and passing it on.
The only thing remotely negative...which I hate to even say that about this book... is that if you are getting for a beginner reader.. this may not be what you expect. My 5 year old can read this but he is well advanced for his age in that subject. Even he may stumble at times. This is more for my 9 year olds reading. But please don't let this stop you from checking it out! It is well worth the buy!
