We have all heard about mineral make up and how magical they are. Great for the skin, easy application, looks great and natural ingredients. But, does it stand up to the hype? For those of you who have not tried it, please let me share with you, my opinion.
I got the opportunity to review a couple samples from EcoGlo minerals. I received the carbon eye color, light foundation and light concealer. I was very excited to try these out. I break out with the whisper of makeup going on my face. I really end up paying when I want flawless skin. So I was very hopeful that the mineral concealer and foundation would do the job without the reaction I would face afterward.
I got half my wish. The concealer and foundation did the job ok, but I needed more then I thought I would to cover my face well. If I was using the makeup everyday, the sample size would last me about a week, maybe two tops. I love the feel of it. It doesn't feel heavy at all..it's got a nice airy feel to it. I love the kabuki brush, it makes it more fun to apply.
Now, for the eye shadow.....I love love love it. I wanted to try the smokey eye look and this shadow not only looks great but covers sooo easily. You don't need much to have that nice dark look. Their gray wolf eye color is also gorgeous. It makes me want to go buy samples in every color...which I may just do that.
EcoGlo's makeup is 100% natural. Which makes you feel so much better about putting it on your face. Have you heard what some makeup is made out of??? Let's just say I met a couple that butchered animals and they went into details about where some discards went and how they process it. I guess that may be another reason you don't see lots of makeup on my face...even if I didn't break out.
EcoGlo will also never clog your pores since it is free of oils, silicone, and waxes. They promise you high quality mineral cosmetics, fast shipping, affordable prices, great customer service and .....they are made in the USofA :) So, with all the other great things that EcoGlo has to offer, you will also be putting your mark on getting this economy back up by buying products that is made in our great country! Did you hear about the challenge of buying American for this year? Heck, I think if we all could just do it for a month we would see how much it would help.
So....EcoGlo was nice enough to send a few extra samples to try. I am however going to test and see how many people are paying attention and only running this contest for a day :) Be quick then! You will get a sample of the Gray Wolf eye color (freakin gorgeous!) , blush and foundation. Wanna know how you can get your chance? Read on young grasshopper..
