Easy Canvas Prints - A Review

A couple weeks ago I was contacted by one of my favorite sponsors to review a product from a canvas site they just launched called Easy Canvas Prints. I can't express how excited I was because the exclamation point isn't large enough! Knowing what kind of work they do, I couldn't have been any more happier to oblige. I knew what picture I was going to do right off because it is a rare thing for my boys to pose for pictures together and it is even more rare to get them all looking like themselves in the picture! So I chose one that was taken on the middle one's 5th birthday when we all went on a train ride. That was a great family day and I just love the picture. (I just wish 'Lil Riot' was looking at the camera lol.... can't have everything) Here is the picture in jpeg form:

I got it put on a 16 x 20 canvas that was 1.5" thick. I did a solid color border so it would give the illusion of being framed. Here is how it came out!

It is a little darker but I think I boosted the contrast and overlay before I uploaded the picture. So that was on me. The quality, as expected, is wonderful and I am so happy with it. You can choose different wraps and sizes. They have a mirror wrap that will continue your picture around the edge by reversing the image on the perimeter. This looks well on most pictures, but for this one, I liked the color because it looks almost like a shadow box. I liked how it popped out too.

Right now I have it in the kitchen over our microwave, but it will be moved into the livingroom when I am done with the spring cleaning and rearranging. It is a great focal piece and I intend it to be that. That day was a very enjoyable day for the family and now I have it on a great canvas that will last. Thank you Easy Canvas Prints! Do you have a special picture that you would like to put on canvas? Easy Canvas Prints make it so easy to do that.
Just go to their site and use their wizard. They will even show you a preview of what it will look like on the wall when you are done. This really helps make sure you are going to be happy with your purchase. I can't see why you won't be anyway!  Anything goes, you can do older pictures of ancestors or give your elders a picture of their youth... check out this review on Easy Canvas Prints to see what this person did. http://twobearsfarm.blogspot.com/2011/03/easy-canvas-prints-review.html
Or you can simply decorate the kids play area or enlarge a photo of your beloved pet. You have control of the size, border and thickness. Play around and design your own but if you do need any help thinking of something .. they have a great idea lounge to help inspire you!
The shipping is great, it arrived in a few days and came in in a big ol' box and was taped inside for an extra hold. There was a nice long trail of bubble wrap around the canvas for protection which my boys took over in seconds lol. Not a nick or ding on the thing and it was beautiful.
Mother's Day is around the corner and what better gift can you give then a great canvas of her favorite person / art/ pet? The possibilities are endless. Give a gift that will last a life time and will definitely be loved!
