Kimmy Shop - (Back To School Event backpack review)

   Ok Everyone.... it is beginning. The Back To School Event is underway. First up is a review brought to us by Kimmy Shop. What I would like to focus on for this review are the school items since that time is just around the corner. Can you believe that? I know! Anyway, Kimmy Shop was kind enough to send my son lovely Caillou backpack to check out. That was a great choice cause both my sons love Caillou and it is one of the programs I feel good about them loving.

     I was at first surprised at how fast it got to us. It seemed like I had just talked to the company and boom, it was in my mailbox. Talk about fast shipping. So be rest assured it will get to in a timely manner! The next thing I noticed was how cute it was. The colors are nice and bright, which we know the kiddies love. Boy was my 3 year old all about it. Which he may end up with it because his eyes just grew three sizes when he saw it. He may not be in school yet but he loves to pretend he is. This bag measures 8h and 8.25 w, so this is on the small side. So for K and 1st grade it may be a little on the small side. This is perfect for daycare or pre-school and higher grades if you live in a warm climate where you don't need to have them carry around their ski pants and boots in the winter. (poor kiddos :/ )

   This particular bag has those cute little bubble characters that pop out, but what is nice about this one is that it is also sewed around the plastic and isn't just held by adhesive. So it will hold up better in the washing machine. I still would air dry it but that's nice that you don't need to worry about the characters peeling off. The straps can stretch right out to a decent size which will fit larger kids as well. This backpack really seems to have been made more durable then most that you pick up at major department stores. The zipper, material and everything feels like it would hold just fine especially since it wouldn't be holding a lot of weight. Read some other reviews from customers and see what they have to say.
