Yep, you heard me right. Today we are going to talk about giving the 'throne' some ink. I found this idea to be not only funny but ingenious. Why not dress the throne up? I know my hubs spends a lot of time in there to appreciate the art and why not make it pretty or cool? When I came across this site, I couldn't help but contact them. Toilet Tattoos is a site that specializes in providing hygienic, reusable, removable, decorative appliques for your flushing friend.
When I was allowed to choose a design I went with the Koi fish. It is stunning! I absolutely love it! The scene was done by a very talented artist of 20 years named Lori Schory. There is no way that people will walk in my bathroom and not notice the beautiful art on the toilet. She did an amazing job.
The tattoos are super easy to put on. They are identical to a well made window cling. They are not sticky, they don't have any adhesives so they won't damage your seat, and they can be put on and pulled off over and over. They only way I see these being damaged (besides being intentional of course) is if a child took it off and it got walked on. Even then it would just look bumpy from dirt. You can tell this is great quality and totally reusable.
Now I made a mistake, so if you are planning on getting one, learn from what I did. I have a round toilet but my lid is oval. So I went with elongated but should have gone with round. So my pictures do not do it justice because I got the wrong shape. So I customized my tattoo and made it a peep hole into my toilet tank as opposed to a lid cover. I love it just as much. Don't mind my horrible toilet and bathroom! We bought a fixer upper home to change into our own, we just haven't gotten that far yet! So here is what I did. I took the tattoo and cut it so it was round but when I got it on the lid, I thought I had ruined it. See below:
So here is the final place of in for our toilet. I ended up putting it on the front of the tank. I actually really like it there. I just put my 'carpet' cover back over the lid and will probably just purchase the right one when we re-do our bathroom. Because I really do love this thing.
You can purchase a toilet tattoo by going to their site. You can also try one for free with this giveaway! Toilet Tattoos is giving one of my readers a toilet tattoo of their own. Just use the rafflecopter below to enter this giveaway. Good luck!

Hi Crystal,
Very cool! My husband spends a lot of time in there too! LOL! Being we have lots of fish, I would probably go with the Koi Fish. However, Twinkle Tinkle Star is fabulous for kids!

I love the purple peace sign! I am a child of the 60's, and purple is my favorite color, so that specific tattoo made my day!
These are pretty neat! I am the only girl in an all-guy home, so I think that the Skull Grunge would fit our nasty bathroom! LOL
