Mixbook - make their pre-made designs your own!

I am horrible with sending cards out at Christmas time. Even when I do get around to getting the cards done, I miss someone or wait so long I just end up giving them to the recipient when I see them. This year I have them all set and it was a lot more convenient thanks to Mixbook's Custom 5 x 7 flat Holiday cards.

Their online design program could not have been easier to use. I was impressed with how much of the design you could actually customize. There is nothing on the already made templates you can't tweek or personalize. I chose the Penguin Posse design. (See below)

I liked how cute it was and thought it would work well with the picture I had done in photoshop. They had one big penguin and 2 small ones playing. I thought it would be cute to make it so we (my family of five) were all on there. They have the images and details all in layer format so you can pick where you want them and if you want them in the background or forefront. So I added a few more penguins and messed around a little bit with snow and swirls and came up with this! Isn't that adorable?

On the back I did the same thing. On the template there was no photo spots and just one penguin. I added 4 photo spots and more penguins to show off that each penguin represented a person in our family. As you can see from the originals up top, the pre-made template was cute but bland and didn't quite do it for me. Adding the snow, changing the font and putting more pictures on it made it into something I love and am proud to give out. Again, it shows just how much you can customize.

I had them printed with the premium silk flat finish and they already came with 5x7 premium white envelopes.. Now, all I have to do is send them out. Here it is October and I have all my cards all done, in their envelopes, addressed and ready to go! That's an accomplishment for me!

I will definitely be keeping Mixbook in mind with whatever event that may come up. They provide cards,  stationery and other photo gifts, for all occasions. With it being so simple to use, it won't be hard at all to get them done and let people know that I do actually think of them!

You can buy these photo cards for just $.99 each or buy them in bulk and save. When you buy 30 of them, they drop down to $.72 each. Shipping isn't too bad compared to other places but I will say that its more worth it if you buy in larger amounts.

Connect with Mixbook on Facebook and Twitter or sign up for their newsletter to get first dibs on all their great promotions that they run to save you even more money.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
