Stoplight Clock - a second hand for parents when it comes to bed time!

If you have a household anything like mine, Morning routines can be a struggle. The kids are hard to wake up when you need them up, especially for school, and then somehow wake up super early whenever you try to sleep in. It seems like every Saturday morning I have to ask the kids to give me just 15 more minutes. I think the creators of The Stoplight Alarm Clock must have known the same frustrations when they invented this awesome clock. This clock is made by It's About Time... (a division of Custom Quest http://www.custom-quest.com/products.php ).

It's an alarm clock that goes off just like any other alarm clock would, and comes in 4 cute designs. But this alarm clock has some special features. First, the alarm is loud enough to wake any kid up. I heard the "Beep beep beep... beep beep beep" all the way from my living room. That might not be great for older kids who wake up before the younger kids, but this clock is designed for younger kids anyway.

The second feature this clock has is that you can choose whether the clock makes noise or not. Why would you want an alarm clock that doesn't make noise? I'll tell you why... so kids aren't up at the crack of dawn! This clock has 3 colored lights, each indicating a seperate thing. When the light is red, it means the child must stay in bed or in their room. The orange light is an optional night light for kids that are afraid of the dark. And the green light means that it is okay to get out of bed.

I absolutley love this clock. My son found out he couldn't wake me up at 6 am and he wasn't fond of the purpose the clock served, but he loves the night light and the design. One of the things I love most is how easy it is to use. It's this easy:

1. To set the time, hold the set button until the numbers blink, then use the hour and minute buttons to change the time. Then press the set button to finalize.
2. To set the alarm, press the set button twice quickly until the numbers blink, then use the hour and minute buttons to set the alarm time. Press the set button to finalize.
3. To turn the alarm on, press the alarm button and the red light will light up.
4. To turn off the beeping sound for weekends or vacations, turn the sound switch to off on the back of the clock.
5. And for the night light, press the light button in the front.

How easy is that? A child could do it!

And we aren't the only ones who love it. Check out this testimonial from Seth's Mom from Ohio:

This product is amazing!!!
My husband and I were exhausted because our son constantly would wake us up to ask "is it time to get up?" We bought this clock hoping it would help him stay in bed and it WORKED!! We couldn't believe how proud he was when he stayed in bed until the light turned green. This product is a huge blessing to me and my husband and it looks adorable in his room too.

There are a lot more testimonials from other parents who are relieved to finally be getting some sleep. I am so glad that my son has this tool to help him learn the self-discipline he and I both need him to have. I would recommend The Stoplight Alarm Clock to anyone with young children.
