Did you know that it has been over 14 years since Build-A-Bear Workshop has opened its doors in St.Louis Galleria? Back in 1997 on October 27th, the first bear was made at the, now famous, workshop. This special store, with a big heart, has spread the love all over the globe. Now, in this year of 2012, they will be turning 15 years old and they have sold their 100 MILLIONTH furry friend!! Do you own one of them? My son does. He had one made for him on his first birthday with a special little birthday message.
Hitting these two milestones is a big deal! In honor of these events, Build-A-Bear wants to spread the word that Friends Count! As we all know, friends are special. I have a couple best friends that have been through a lot with me. They have seen me broke and falling apart at the seams, but they have also seen me giggle in ridiculous glee. I'm also lucky enough to have 2 of those friends be blood as well. This makes the bond even more unbreakable and I treasure them tremendously! Friends are the best therapy and a huge source of happiness. Have you told a friend you care for them lately?
