Ok... it is spring. We know it because our yards are swamps and the kids are getting anxious for the last day of school and another reason I know is I am getting the craving for splashes of color everywhere. I'm waiting for my flowers to bloom and I can't wait to fill my house up with dozens of bouquets of lilacs. They are my favorite flower, scent and color. So splashing my hair with it sounds like a great spring filled idea to me!
I have been admiring the streaks of colors for a while now but quite frankly I didn't know how to put them in and I am a huge animal lover. Everything is faux for me except for my pillow. *blushes* I know, but I have had my down pillow for a long time and it is seriously what gets me to sleep. Moving on. I don't want to stick real feathers in my hair and I am happy to say that Picasso hair feathers are completely cruelty free. So no animals have been harmed in the making of you being beautiful :D I know, I am cheesy. It's ok.
I tried out the Princess pack. It had 5 premium hair feather extensions in the colors above. Aren't they gorgeous? Even though I am obsessed with lilac, the electric teal has been slowly trying to take over and I'm starting to allow it. But this couldn't be a more perfect combination for me. To me they are mesmerizing.
Once I got the first one in, they were surprisingly easy to apply. Just in case you have trouble though, you can watch the video below or on the Picasso website.
So you see, they are pretty simple to get in. It took just a minute to get your hands to cooperate but really it was a breeze after you get that down. Once you start, you don't want to stop. I now want all the colors to go with all my summer outfits. I have made sure to put my little plastic loops in a safe place just in case I need them later because I plan on getting many more colors.
My niece noticed them today and she loves purple too. She was all smiles when I asked her if she liked them. My husband gave 2 thumbs up on them as well. They are perfect to frame your face with and they look adorable even in an up pony tail. Also, if you hair is not that long, like mine, I cut off the extra length and hot glued it to a bobby pin. That is what I am wearing in the picture with the hat above. So I really got 6 feathers :) Now I can just clip it in and put a little hair over the pin and viola!
You can buy the 5 packs for $19.95 or just buy the single strands (which I think is a great thing!) for just $3.95. Tons of fun colors to choose from and free shipping to the US and Canada. If you have teen daughters at home, Picasso cruelty-free hair extensions would make a fantastic gift idea. You know they will love them! What colors do you like?
