Try the new Premium McWraps from McDonalds (first come first serve BOGO coupons!)

I have to be honest. When we go out to eat, I am not usually the one that votes for McDonald's. More often then not we end up there for the kids. My husband loves them but my belly disagrees. I usually stick to salads or McChickens. Don't get me wrong, I love a good fatty burger every once in a while but I still feel hungry after one and end up sick if I eat more. However... McDonald's recently released a new full sized Premium McWrap and they really hit the spot here. This is no "snacker" people. My husband and I indulged in an opportunity to taste test the three different kinds (Chicken and Bacon, Chicken and Ranch and Sweet Chili Chicken) and the first thing I noticed was how large these things were! My husband is a 'grab 3 burgers for himself'' kind of guy and he didn't go back to buy a second on these. I felt over stuffed when mine was finished.

My husband and I both agreed that our favorite was the Chicken and Ranch with the Chicken and Bacon being close second. We both liked it crispy and we have gone back twice after our taste test opportunity. Now I have something I look forward to getting while the kids play till their hearts content in the play place. I wasn't so much in love with the Sweet Chili Chicken because it tasted like a chicken wrap with Italian dressing on it... not so much chili. It was still alright though and very hearty. I should have measured them but if I was to guess, the wrap itself was probably 10 inches long and really full.

Here is some of the details of whats in them and the calorie intake. I have some BOGO coupons to share as well with some of you. If you like what you see and would like to try it for yourself, please email me at langleylove@gmail.com. Since I only have a handful, these are on a first come first serve basis. One per family (and no duplicate email addresses please). I will email you to let you know if you are one that gets a coupon and ask for your address to send it to you. Good luck!

Are you excited yet? Black Friday is right around the corner which means mega savings is on it's way! Who doesn't love to save a buck, especially when you are recovering from a recession?

There are plenty of coupon sites out on the vast world wide web but one that stands out from the crowd is CouponChief.com. They stand out because they actually have a Pays-2-Share program. What is that you ask? A program that will pays you 2% commission on any purchase that was made using a coupon you listed on the site. Think of it as like matching prices at the big department stores but earning shares when you do it! If you already use couponing sites then you have no excuse not to try them out. Why not make Coupon Chief coupon codes your new must have coupon clutch in the virtual world and get a little something something on the side? Everyone loves perks.

Finding a store that I already shop at was a cinch. They have so many options it is almost overwhelming. Here is just a fraction of what stores they have listed under the letter "T".

You can just imagine their full list!

My favorite features of Coupon Chief are:
  • The Pays-2-Share program
  • Easy navigation and easy to utilize all the great coupons they have.
  • Super easy sharing for facebook/twitter etc... which means more money if you are in the Pays-2-Share program *winks*
If you are new to online couponing, have no fears. This site was designed for you! Let me show you how quick it was to save money on a toy I was looking for a gift. I typed in Target on Coupon Chief (cause I love this store) and looked for a coupon that I could use. I found 20% Umizoomi games. This was perfect for me because I need to shop for 4 nieces and they love that show! So I just clicked on the coupon and it copied to my clipboard. I went to target, found a game for the DS for $19.99 and put it in my cart. I pasted the code number  ( pressed control v) into the promo code spot and voila! I saved $4.00 instantly! Here's the proof:

When you go back to CouponChief, they have this fantastic little widget asking you if the coupon worked and how much did you save on one or more items. Then it gives you access to boast about your savings through various social medias. It's really that easy. So check them out, there is bound to be lots of sales going on in lieu of Black Friday and the holidays coming up.. so Happy Saving everyone! Feel free to brag away in the comments below!

Plate Topper review and coupon giveaway

With Shaw's one day seafood sale, we had to take advantage at the super low prices and grab us some fish. I wanted to share a recipe that I first heard of from my Memere mixed with online versions. It is super easy and comes out amazing every time.

This particular time, we used fresh flounder fillets. You will need:

2 pounds of flounder fillets
lemon juice
1/2-3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp of mayonaise
1/2 stick of melted butter
dash of salt
chopped onions (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. Place fillets in baking dish. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Brush the mix onto the fish. You can bake this until it flakes off with a fork, or cook longer if you like it more crispy. I usually like to see the coating on top a golden color and the edges a little crispy. Either way, it comes out great!

A more simple version that I have done is just mixing mayo with Parmesan cheese and simply adding that to the top of the fish to bake. I did this and gave it out to family and they loved it.

My husband wasn't home when I cooked the flounder, so I used my new Plate Toppers to keep it fresh for him. These are a fantastic product! You simply put the topper over your food and press down. It suctions itself right to the plate with a surprisingly strong hold! As you can see in the picture I can lift up from the handle and my plates are durable and heavy.

The other great thing about these toppers is that you can use them in the microwave to steam or warm back up. They stack within each other when you put them away and are easily stackable in the fridge. When you want to take them off, there is a tab you just lift up with. Check out this video below!

I can easily say these are the best plate toppers I've had and are insanely functional. I got the twin pack in lime green and will probably add at least two more. You can purchase them on Amazon for just $19.95.

Also, Plate Topper has some exciting news and events happening that I would like to share with you. Today (March 7th) , they are having their first ever retail launch on QVC on a segment called "Kitchen Unlimited With Carolyn". You can watch them at 4pm Eastern Time / 1 pm Pacific.

They can also be found in Walmart's "Get On The Shelf" contest to find a new product where you can vote for them as your favorite. See the contest below to do just that and win some coupons too.

One last thing. They are also going on sale today at Fab.com starting at 7pm Eastern Time. So if you like what you see, then is the time to grab them up for less! And don't forget to go to their site to get in on their daily giveaways. Winners are announced Monday-Friday :)

Fantastic Coupon Organizing Prize Pack Giveaway! Perfect for beginners :D

What could start off the new year better than to save lots of money? It is one of my resolutions to learn the ins and outs of couponing and start really keeping a budget to see our family get a little bit more ahead. We have really been hit hard and for quite a while now. Quite frankly, I am sick of it and I am going to do something about it. I was able to review a wonderful couponing course from Rayven Perkins and she explained everything so well that it was easy to follow her and know what she was talking about.

Policies and fine print can be really overwhelming to want to get into and being afraid to make a fool of yourself could be keeping you from jumping out there. However, if you have the right tools, you can have the confidence to go get your first haul. I highly recommend getting this course if you are just getting started and right now is a great time to do it since her course retails for $37 but you can get it now for just $17!

I was thinking that it would be great to get another person as excited to try diving into this field with me. How could I do that? Well, I could get a giveaway together that would set us up so we can begin our Couponing adventure together, right? Thanks to some awesome sponsors, we have done just that!

When choosing a binder you want to find something practical, durable and (maybe it's not a necessity) but it would be nice if it was stylish as well. You want to be able to carry it around easily, keep your coupons safe and have it organize everything well. Samsill offers a binder where you can find all the features listed above. Their Professional 2" Zipper Binder - Retractable Handles is the perfect solution. It features:

  • Retractable handles
  • Wrap-around zipper provides security for important documents
  • Two exterior storage pockets
  • 2" capacity removable ring metal
  • Dual powered calculator
  • Expandable snap closure document pocket
  • 8.5" x 11" Writing tablet
  • Business card holder
  • Media pockets
  • Pen loop

It has the look and feel of real leather. As soon as I got it, I put my coupons in and got them organized. I love this binder and actually so does my husband lol. He is thinking about getting one for his construction work for when he goes to bid jobs. He said he was just talking to the guy he works with about finding one and he thinks this binder is perfect.

To me, it has a fantastic set up for couponing. The calculator is an added plus and there are plenty of pockets and room, not to mention the convenient handles that pop out! You can find a dealer on their locator. The cheapest place I have found one is on Amazon for $40.78 which is a great deal considering this retails for over $80.

Samsill is one of the World's largest independently owned manufacturers of business accessories, laptop cases, media storage, ring binders and sheet protectors. When reading about their mission and values as a company, I was surprised and touched to see a major company like their be so vocal about their faith in God! From their website:
Values
Our ability to achieve our vision comes from the foundation laid by our core values and faith in God.

This made me smile :D

The next thing when you are looking for setting your binder up is probably going to be the filler pages. The best place I found for this was Hobbymaster. This company is your one stop shop for all your hobby accessory needs. If you collect stamps, cards or clip coupons.. then you need to check Hobbymaster out. They will be sourcing zipper binders as well real soon.

For a 50ct. bundle of assorted binder pages, it costs $15.99. I love this assortment because not only is it more than enough to be just starting, but I can fit all my coupons in without bending because of all the different choices. It also has a bonus sleeve that you can stick select coupons in and easily pull it out or just take that one sleeve with you for a small trip. I have already done this when I went to Family Dollar just today. The pages seem durable enough (not like some sheet protectors that seem to rip the first or second time putting something in). I'm not the most organized person but when I actually sit down to do it, I am kind of OCD about it. Maybe this is why I don't organize enough.. I know it will take me forever! lol Shhh, that is my excuse!

Anyways, I have been pulling coupons out, putting them back in and moving pages around for hours after I clipped all my coupons and they have been great.
If you really wanted a nice and affordable way to get yourself all you needed to start, you could get Hobbymaster's Coupon Saver Pro Binder Bundle with Bonus sleeve for $28.88. This sleeve is great to put your scissors and other accessories in and this bundle comes with the binder and 50ct. assortment of pages as well.

Don't forget that clipping coupons isn't the only pass time covered at Hobbymaster. If you like to collect sports or trading cards, postcards, coins or even wine corks, you'll find something you'll like.

So... what is this giveaway I mentioned earlier? Everything that I have talked about in this post is going to one lucky reader :D YUP!

The awesome binder with the notepad, calculator and retractable handles from Samsill... the 50ct. bundle of perfectly assorted binder pages from Hobbymaster AND the very helpful 'Couponing: The Extreme Video Course' (online) from Rayven Perkins!!!!! Everything you need to start this journey with me! I am very excited to be able to offer this to one of you and can't wait to see who wins! Use the rafflecopter below to enter and GOOD LUCK! I hope this helps start the year off with many savings!

BUT WAIT! There is more!! *smirks* If you don't win or if you have your own binder and don't need the course... there is more giving to be had. Hobbymaster (the sponsor of the binder pages) is holding a sweepstakes for 3 of the 50ct. bundle. Put your easy one entry in and cross your fingers. Please come back and tell me if you win by leaving a comment on here! Ok, you can enter now!

Open to the continental US unless winner is willing to pay for shipping. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I'm getting $2.00 of $2 or more on any meat perchase like crazy!

I am very wet behind the ears with the whole coupon saving thing. My organizational skills are not the best and I end up letting things expire before I go and get them. Or I go buy and notice I have the coupon at home after I have bought it. So frustrating! But I haven't heard many people talking about your hannaford number. Maybe it is because I am a goof and everyone knows it without saying but I have went to Hannaford twice this last week and both times I have gotten a $2.00 off a $2.00 or more meat purchase. That's great! How come people aren't spilling this out everywhere?

Its free to sign up. Just go to Hannaford.com and sign up for the points. In a couple days they will send you the stickers with your number. I put them on my other loyalty cards and just swiped it before I cashed out. A surprise coupon will spit out. I'm getting free meat :) Can't argue with that! Also you can sign the number card up with online savings like Saving Star to earn money to put in paypal. I know most of you coupon savvy moms know this but I just wanted to share just in case.

   Thanks for listening!

Just me sharing with you :)
