I love customizing things and making them my own. That way, when people come over, they see things they are familiar with but with a new twist. Like my piano now has a one of a kind, little boy and girl kissing under a willow tree on it. It's beautiful and I love it. And now, thanks to Dezign with a Z, I have a flower that is blowing in the wind with a butterfly hovering above it on the right door of my fridge. It looks like it came from the factory that way, but it was Dezign with a Z and a couple minutes of time.Since I have black accents and the decal was black, it looks great on the stainless steel:) They have a great selection. You can pretty much get a design for any spot in the house. I still have not found a section aimed at kitchen though...but they will make a decal for you from a jpeg. That means you can really customize it! So if I did want a specific thing on my kitchen cabinets, I send them the picture, and voila.
You don't need to worry about doing it wrong. It is a very easy application. It comes on transfer paper and has a plastic coating like fake tattoos. In fact, they are just like fake tattoos without the water. If you see that the decal is starting to stick to the transfer paper and not the wall, then just lay it back down a little and peel again. Just like the fake tattoos. The only suggestion I would make...is to take it slowly and don't just plop it all on at once. Then you may wrinkle it or cause bubbles. If you have a really big decal, you may want an extra pair of hands to hold it out while you apply it. But really, it's so easy and the outcome is definitely worth it.
