Exhaustion... we all have it. Or at least most of us. I know that I can definitely relate to the comments of being drained of energy, and having no motivation to have fun when I finally can. If I did, would I even know what to do? lol Denise Austin has given us a great guide to get more energy and enjoy the small things again. In the beginning of her book she puts together a nice little test and asks some questions. Depending on the amount of check marks there are, it determines what part of your life is draining the most energy. I got high marks in two categories and had another category right behind it. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to draining myself. Denise then directs us to certain chapters depending on our areas of energy zappers and gives us the keys to change it. She has a 2 week personal plan with tips, recipes and motivation to make this second nature.
I always wanted to be a morning person but seemed to just stay up at night. I love the days when I get right up and feel energized. But the problem is, that is a RARE thing. When I first got the book I was regretting getting into another book, I was feeling overwhelmed when it got in the mail and the last thing I wanted to tackle was a diet/ workout/ life changer :) But reading through it, it's not changing much in how we eat really at all. Anyone who says that baked potatoes are a smart snack, I am ok with! There were energy snack ideas I actually am (do I dare say? ) a little excited about trying. I already have my revamped grocery list made out and will start initiating it next week. I really think my family will like our meals more. But her book is about much more then food habits. It talks about letting things go and confronting issues, taking time for yourself by saying no to dishes that night... lots of things that are small but have a significant impact on your energy. It is just usually invisible or in the background to us.Click here to download a sneak peak of Denise's book Get Energy! from her site.
I have the opportunity to share this with 3 of my readers. Super easy entries because I want you all to just start reading and see what I mean. It's not a boring, lose weight book. It shines lights on easily changeable things that make you kind of say .. yea.. I should just change that. I can see why that would give me my energy back lol. Also, this book comes with 7 days free with her online. So ladies... here's what you gotta do:
Mandatory Entry:
Go to her site and tell me how old you think she is. (guessing her age correctly does not bring up your chance of winning)

I've seen her videos around for awhile I think, so she's gotta be like 45.
Is she 49?
