Thanks for coming by to visit my blog. LOL that it's your husband that hates spiders.I wish I was as nice as you but I don't have it in me. When I lived in the city I used to put the insects outside because I rarely saw them. Now that they are accosting me all the time..death it is. Ants are huge out here...we have ant hills all over the property. Most of the Summer is spent running over them with the lawn mower but we have one that is so big I can't go over it with the lawn mower.Good thing it is at the back of the property with the snake den. Which my husband runs over with the lawnmover (snakes that is). I really don't see ladybugs until late fall then we have a couple of days in which there are so many they literally cover the windows and side of the house. This is my sign that cold weather is fast approaching and after battling insects all Summer long...a very Welcomed thing!.
