I am really excited to open up all the windows in my house and say goodbye to Cabin Fever this year! I usually don't complain about the snow and cold weather.. I actually love my sweater and hat collection and it gives me an excuse to wear them.. But.. this year has been extreme with the cramped in feeling. My husband and I have been on the same page and going right through our home, cleaning and re-arranging it like crazy. The only room left is our livingroom that has been collecting all the other rooms clutter while we got them taken care of. Tomorrow we should have the livingroom re-arranged which will unblock my 4 windows that go from ceiling to floor. Right now, my piano is hiding its light. I am super excited.
Well, I received a great package from Buzz Agent with some SC Johnson products to really polish off the chore of spring cleaning. It came at perfect timing and so far I have loved every one I tried. It came with Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel, Pledge lemon furniture cleaner, a glade scented candle, Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer, a Glade plug-in refill, and a book full of savings. I first tried out the Toilet gel.
Let's just say the toilet is a constant focus with a house full of boys. My husband, God bless him, usually takes this chore on anyways. I'm very thankful for that! lol Now he can have an easier time. We aren't seeing the cleaning effects yet, but the gel definitely makes a difference with the scent that lingers in the bathroom! It comes with a nice little tube dispenser and you just push a button and press the tube against the under rim of the bowl until the button pops into place in the next slot. It dispenses a nice amount on the toilet and smells wonderful. With every flush you smell it some more.
The next one I tried was the Scrubbing Bubbles mega shower foam. I have gone crazy with it already! I can't say enough about how fast and great this product works! This is not to be nice and have a good review done, it will from now on be a staple cleaning product.
I need to tell you a little about my tub for you to understand. We have a big plastic garden tub in our bathroom. Although it was a great tub and perfect for the kids...its plastic. We started having piping and water problems this last winter and the faucet kept dripping... it was not the faucet ... something else was going on. So most of the winter we had a slow drip that eventually stained the tub aweful. No matter what I used on it, it had a gross yellowing in a drip pattern down the tub. We were planning on just replacing it. But when I tried the bubbles out today, I sprayed it on, left for a little while, came back and it was gone!! I'm in utter shock. Not only was the stains gone but it kept cleaning and whitening the tub. It looks as good as new. 5+ stars for the Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer. It is also made with Extend a clean to keep your shower cleaner for up to 4 days.
As far as the pledge goes, we all know that pledge is great for wood, but this works well on stainless steel, granite and even the couch. I spritz the couch with it to collect all the allergens and freshen it up. Now it smells great and hopefully it will help Spaz since he has been breaking out in hives from some unknown allergen that is bothering him. Poor kid.
