Skin MD - A review

I have lots of lotions with all different scents and purposes. So many in fact that they have their own cupboard in my bedroom. However, I don't use many of them, so they just sit there. I find that they may smell really good but feel greasy on the skin. Or they absorb nicely but don't have any results in moisturizing so it is pointless putting them on. I have a few I do like and use when I think of it, but I just don't have a routine with them because none of them stand out in the fact of making me feel any better. Well, now that has changed. I recently received a bottle of Skin MD Shielding Lotion for Face, Body and Hands to review.

This lotion was designed to be an all natural skin care aid in preventing dry skin and protecting sensitive skin. First the lotion helps absorb the moisture and then it keeps it in by giving a protecting layer to shield out the outside chemicals and irritants. It is hypoallergenic, free of fragrances, parabens and colorants. It is made with more than 90% natural ingredients and 100% food-grade ingredients that are on the FDA's "most safe" list. Skin MD has been widely praised for its healing properties for severe skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. On the bottle it claims that if you apply a small amount, initially every 2-8 hours graduating to 12-24 hours that regeneration is fully-realized within a few days. My thoughts on that claim? I absolutely stand behind that statement. It has been about a week using it daily on my face and hands and I already feel a drastic difference. This makes Skin MD stand out from all my other lotions because I actually feel better after putting it on.
A little goes a long way which means more applications. It has a nice silky smooth texture but leaves no greasy residue. As soon as you rub it in you feel softer but not oily. I love that. I break out easily on my face when products are applied. But as I said, I have been using Skin MD on my face for a week now and my face seems to look better! Its not that my face isn't breaking out a little still... I break out once a month anyways... but it feels softer and looks more alive and youthful already. My hands are definitely thankful since they have been drying out with dishwashing lately. If you are looking for a lotion that you can restore moisture or looking for one that will finally work with extreme skin issues, Skin MD should be your first try. I am very happy with my results. I didn't think to take pictures of my dry hands before reviewing, but I took some this morning and will update this post in a week or two to show you how my skin has improved. I don't have a severe dryness issue, but I should be able to show you how it has definitely changed for the better. This is not a product that is all talk people, I am happy to say that you can trust in the Skin MD skin care products!

As you can see from the photo above they now have the Shielding lotion available with SPF15.
