I feel for Casey over at Aubut Life. The amount of spices I have and the space I have for them does not jive well together. I have a great project in mind for my future spice rack when we make over the kitchen, and yes I could make them before hand, but I am waiting till it all goes well together. Here is my future spice rack project (but a little different, maybe different backdrop or on tracking, and probably multiplied)

So, like every other project in this household, it will be a task that keeps getting pushed aside until I finally get fed up enough to just go get everything for it! But until then, I needed to figure something out. While my husband was on the couch and watching tv, I took out my picture hanging set... grabbed 4 eyelet screws (correct screws? ) and the wire and hung a board that was in our oldest son's head board. Our project right now is redoing the boys room and making them custom bunk beds. so this board was free. Here is how it turned out. I know it is a frugal display but oh well.

So after all the irritations getting the stupid hooks into the hard as rock wood... I feel quite sheepish when I see the genius idea by Casey using Macaroni and Cheese boxes. This would have done the job without the irritation and it would be easier taking down when it was time to do my spice rack project.
