Little Afterglow Sampler - a review

   I have had my eye on the Little Afterglow Sampler from Edenfantasys for a while. I had watched a video review and I knew I would love some of the scents but didn't know about how it would turn into massage oil and how relaxing it may be. The sampler pack comes with 6 great scents. I have my favorites but all of them are nice. They include Dark Vanilla, Pink Lotus, Bourbon, Grapefruit, Cucumber Water and Truffle & Gardenia. My favorites would be Truffle & Gardenia, Bourbon, and Dark Vanilla.

   They came in a nice decorative box with a tied pink ribbon all ready for gifting. Also, inside the box it came with a guide on what candles you may want to start with and where it is better received. I decided to follow the guide at first just to see how it worked. The scents that are offered are amazingly accurate, especially the grapefruit! My husband loves grapefruit and big surprise, he loved that candle too. I personally wasn't all about this particular scent but that one lingered in the room. The candles burn at low temperature so I was quite surprised at how easily the oil could be handled. I poured a little on my hand and just used it like regular massage oil.

  The nice thing about using the candles is that the oil is already warm so on chillier nights the massage would feel even nicer and it relaxes the muscles more. It does not leave a waxy residue like you may think. It rubs right in and smells great. Even being the smaller 'sampler' versions of the regular candles EdenFantasys offers, these are going to last quite a while for us. They are pretty good size and you don't need much when you have let them burn a little while. Just a little oil goes a long way. Then you blow it out, let it solidify again and that's that. Another great feature is the ceramic holders these candles come in. Another reviewer suggested using them after for trinket holders and that is exactly what I plan to do with them. So you may see a post in the future of a craft I do involving these holders and turned into something new!

   These candles had great reviews and I see why. They are a great product even if you just want to burn them as regular candles but they are also natural and makes your skin feel nice and smooth. You don't need to use them in couples massages you can treat yourself to an aromatherapy bath and rub some on your skin for moisturizer. This set would make a really nice gift for someone in fact I have someone in mind that will probably get this since she has a wedding on July 4th *winks*
