This particular size is great for adults that drink a lot of water or iced coffee etc. I personally would need two of these to be suffice for the family but that depends on your family size. With 25 ounces, that gives a family of 3 just a little over 8 ounces each.
Pure Hydration started with concerned parents that didn't want to keep buying plastic bottles and wanted a durable stainless steel water bottle their child could go to school with. They wanted one that wouldn't be a pain to carry around because it is too cold or is prone to leaking. I would say they achieved this goal. I tested to see how cold the bottle got. Although it was chilly, it was not as cold as the other 3 stainless steel bottles we have in our fridge currently. I put them all in at the same time (last night before bed). It was explained to me that this was because the inside cold does not bleed through to the outside of the bottle. This also makes it so that the bottle does not have all that condensation we are used to seeing and feeling with other water bottles or our iced coffees. However, I was also told that if I was to put the bottle itself in the fridge again (which it is completely fine to do that) just remove the cap first. The cap staying on will not let the liquid chill as much as it could have.
The covers are the selling point for me. The bottle has a great design and is well made but the covers are unlike all the others. It has two metal screens that pop securely inside to keep loose tea leaves or ice cubes in the bottle and not spilling onto your mouth. The opening is wide enough to put any of your average ice cubes in. None of my other ones will do that without melting the ice down a little. Also, the top has a great handle that doesn't pop the top off! I can't tell you how many times that water bottles have had handles like this but have just popped the top off and the bottle goes flying anyways. I love love love the covers and screens to this bottle.

New design is so much more inferior to original design, to bad it was a great product I have 4 bottles and have gifted over 10 until the new design, was looking here today to see if you had any of them in stock.
