Does your skin suffer from rashes, itching, stinging, dryness or general discomfort in response to fragrances, stress or even weather? Then you probably have sensitive skin and have a hard time finding products that won't make you break out. I do. Everything that I seem to put on my skin makes it explode in blemishes and redness. And moisturizers? Forget it! I am like a teenager all over again and the greasy feel doesn't seem to go away. I can NOT wear make up ( except for mineral) which really kind of stinks since I work in a restaurant setting! However, finally some relief has come and a product has been found that actually works. My face has not cleared up completely but .. oh my!
I have been using Burt's Bees Natural Skin Solutions Sensitive Facial Cleanser and Sensitive Moisturizing Cream almost a month now and I am sold. I know what you are thinking... "She's getting something out of it and is too hype about the product" You are absolutely right. For the first time I am seeing my skin clear up naturally and the shocking thing is I can put on moisturizer without feeling like I slathered my face in lard and my face is not reacting bad to it. That is getting something out of this and yes! I have a lot of hype of this product but it is well deserved hype. For anyone that can relate to what I am saying then you know how frustrating trying to keep your skin clear is! There are so many reasons to try this line and I can't think of one reason not to.
The Sensitive Facial Cleanser contains Quillaja, which is extracted from the bark of Soapbark trees and it provides a natural foaming lather. Another ingredient it contains is Yucca, a desert plant high in saponins, which traditionally have been used in cleansing. Now, ready for this? It only costs $10.00 and a little goes a long way!!
The other product I tried was the Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream that you apply after you wash with the cleanser. This is what keeps your skin hydrated but doesn't feel greasy! I can feel the effect of it at the end of the day! It contains Rice Extract to moisturize and Aloe to soothe. It won't clog pores and it costs $15.00. Again, a little goes a long way. These babies will last a while.
Along with the cleanser and moisturizer, I also received samples to hand out. I took them to the ladies at work and they were super excited to be getting free samples anyways, but knowing they were Burt's Bees samples, they went fast! Not convinced yet? Here are a couple fun factoids about Burt's Bees and why I am now singing, "Burt's Bees? Yes, Please!"
U.S. consumers named Burt's Bees in the top five green brands in the 2010 and 2011 ImagePower Green Brands Survey.
From 2008 to 2010, Burt's Bees decreased its energy use by 15.3% and its non-product water use by 5.5%. The company is now sending zero waste to landfill from its North Carolina facilities!
Burt's Bees products are free of petrochemicals and other synthetic ingredients like phthalates, parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate. And since its beginnings 25 years ago, Burt's Bees does NOT test on animals.
A dedicated advocate of preserving Honeybee Health, Burt's Bees strongly supports The Pollinator Partnership's efforts to protect bees and other pollinators through education, outreach, conservation and research. (I can see the importance here, but coming from someone that is petrified of bees... it's not the selling point for me! lol )
With a presence in over 30 markets across the world, Burt's Bees offers 150 natural personal care products spanning 14 categories, including face care, body care and baby care.
Speaking of other products they make... if you have inflamed gums from tartar build up, their toothpaste is a God Sent! Just saying!

I received this product as a result of being a BZZAgent for the purpose of review. The opinions in this post are 100% my own and may differ from yours.
