I have come to realize that with everything going on at home and how much I got lost in posting reviews and giveaways, that I have not done a personal post in a while and I don't think I have ever really talked about myself. Sure, I talk about my hubs and kiddos quite a bit on a regular basis, but maybe you would like to know a little about the person behind the blog a little more. So here are some fun facts and I really hope that some of my wonderful readers will share some of their fun facts back. I have met many great people through this here blog and hope to keep meeting many more of you. So here goes:
I am a 27 year old married gal and together we have 3 energetic boys.
I love anything lilac and coffee... I am obsessed. I actually have a vintage necklace made from coffee beans hanging from my car mirror. (Thanks to my good friend Angela who is moving to Egypt tomorrow *sniffles*...)
I hate to be cold... so Maine is a wonderful place for me ... hear the sarcasm?
I love to sing.
I am artistic and enjoy painting even though I haven't picked up a paint brush in a while.
I love to read (especially period romance novels)
I still sleep with noise or a tv on. I am not so much afraid of the dark, shadows created from light scare me far worse!
I am petrified of bees... they have a thing against me and it will always bee war! lol
Oh yea... I appreciate stupid puns and cheesy humor.
I heart photoshop and all the wonderful things that this fantastic program can do!
Here is a picture of me looking like a character from Ratatouille. Ha!
That is just perty ain't it?
I love to laugh and generally like people. Although I have my days like everyone else.
I would love to travel but I don't think I could ever step foot on a plane. I know, it's a sad thing.
I've had scarlet fever twice... the first time I was too young to remember, the second time I hallucinated Mickey and Minnie mouse in yellow bathrobes with a singing cherub above their head in a shower curtain while I took a bath. I asked my cousin to not say anything, but she couldn't run fast enough to rat me out.
I grew up on a place that was dubbed 'The Funny Farm' and rightly so... my father had a life size cut out of Earnest P. Worrell as a lawn ornament and chickens that were never in the coop greeted us off the bus every afternoon. That may not seem like a big deal but it is humiliating having a flock of nodding birds come running at you when you get off the bus!! I think this is why I am pretty much bomb proof now. Just saying....
I have a journal to jot down every randomly funny or cute thing my kids say or do so I can remember and appreciate their oddness. A random example in this journal to share with you: "Last week when I asked (Lil Riot) what he wanted to be for Halloween, he replies, 'A sandwich with cheese'. He is 4 years old."
I have two dogs. One is good, the other is his evil counterpart. We love her anyways.
I miss going to church.
I am on a horrible schedule and hate to sleep. I used to have nightmares every night and this is the reason I have a horrible schedule.
I love this time of year and have a huge sweater collection. But, I hate this time of year because I live close to a hunting grounds... I have never seen any deer but people keep flocking... don't like it... ugh.
I will stop boring you now, will you let me know a little about you? Here is a good starter question... what is something that you can think of right now that will put a smile on your face or make you laugh?
