1st and foremost, Stopain is no newcomer and they are manufactured right out of Hazzlelton, PA. This means they are a 100% 'Made in the USA' company. This always helps me make a decision. We (Americans) really have to start supporting our own!
When I say that Stopain is no newcomer, I am saying it this way because lots of people think this. They have had loyal customers since 1991 and you can read about their history to find out why they appeared to have just 'hit the shelves'.
Stopain's philosophy is to help manage your pain so that you can lead richer, healthier lives. They want you to know that they will stay committed to doing the following:
- Improving Quality Continually
- Providing Exceptional Service
- Cultivating an Engaged and Dedicated Workforce
- Strengthening Partnerships with Suppliers and Clients
- Honoring Our Responsibilities to Our Environment, Our Community, and the Authorities that Govern Our Industry
Something else I found great about this product is that with every purchase of Stopain, you help the Arthritis foundation. I already know that I may be young now, but I have joint issues already and it is nothing to joke about. I can appreciate the fact that some of the proceeds circle right back around to help the source of the pain!

With anything else that has menthol in it you can expect the cool sensation which this has. The difference between this and others is that it isn't overwhelming. At first it does the usual vapor rub effect where you can smell it and feel the tingle but it wasn't strong enough to make my eyes water or make me feel freezing.
Since my husband hasn't been working alot lately, his back has not been bothering him as much. However, I have had a couple places bugging me and decided to put it to the test. I peeled potatoes a couple nights this week and my elbow and wrists were a wreck because of it. I also have one foot that is larger then the other due to an unknown incident where I broke 3 toes. I later stubbed these toes and cause inflammation. For the most part the foot doesn't bother me, unless it's cold or constricted in boots or shoes for too long.
So I applied the Stopain gel in both areas. I was not expecting the gel to take care of the pain, especially in my wrists since this is a tendon issue, which it doesn't claim to help with. But, I did want to see if it helped keep my mind off of it or relaxed it enough to help the problem. This it did. If I swung my hand around I could still feel the pain (obviously), but the soothing menthol and cool effects helped with the pain not being a focus. This was a good 'mask' for the issue here. As far as my foot went, I felt a lot more effects there. It almost gave an awakening effect on the joints that are inflamed. I would definitely keep using this as a daily foot rub if nothing else. I know this gel won't make the joints normal again but it certainly helped make them feel that way! I highly recommend this for joint issues!
