Zumi pants by Elven Forest - Etsy Spotlight

Inspiration. This is something I am always on the search for. I have even named my site after this. I LOVE to be inspired and see others (or their creations) when they are. This word, along with all it's tenses, best describes my next Etsy Spotlight... Elven Forest. You know have something in clothing, when you put it on and you feel so darn good, you don't ever want to take it off.

The Zumi pants are extremely comfortable and you can wear them when you exercise, dance, or even for everyday wear. The cotton jersey that it is made of is completely breathable and fits like a glove. The clothing is custom made so you will need to know your measurements. Care is easy, you just throw them in the washer and dryer when you need to wash them. I do want to make a note that you will want to make sure that you give your correct leg measurements. You do not want to trip over or snag these pants because you gave an extra inch or two. These particular pants are designed to hang over your shoes.

 I also want to add that you can't see this in the picture, but the material is slightly (very slightly) see-through. Mainly seen from a distance, my husband noticed this. However, the skirt at the top doubles the layers and can not be seen there. So you can only notice this on the legs or if the skirt is up.

It has been a while since I had an article of clothing that makes me feel as sexy and feminine as these pants do. I am a mother of 3 and have let lots of stuff go... my morning routine, styling hair, make up... you get the idea. But these pants inspired me to get out into my living room and exercise again. I have had several Zumba and Yogalates (yes I mixed the words yoga and pilates) sessions since I got them. They are so fun to work out in, they almost seem to dance with you. I can't say enough about these pants or the shop in general. There are so many beautiful things in this store that there isn't one thing I don't like. It is filled with free spirited custom clothing that is inspired by elf and fairy fashion. You will find swim suits, pixie skirts, wraps, onsies and more.

My favorite article of clothing in the whole store would probably be the Victoria wrap. Because this is not only inspiring but innovative as well and just so darn cute! The owner of Elven Forest and creator of all these wonderful designs is Ashli Hara. She is from San Francisco, California and has been on Etsy since December of 2008.
