Steamfast 3 in 1 steam mop review and GIVEAWAY!

You know those products that you get and after you use them, you wonder how you got by without it? You immediately adjust and can never imagine going back to your old ways. This is exactly how I feel about my Steamfast 3 in 1 steam mop. I have used it every day since I got it and keep finding new things I can use it on. So far I have had it about a week and I have mopped all my hard floors, steamed spots out of my livingroom carpet, steam cleaned my couch, the cocking around my tub and my car! I mean I steam cleaned the crap out of my car. It hasn't looked this good in a long time. I had everything from coffee spills to chocolate stains in the back from the boys. I got it all up including the ground in spots where the feet go. I am just amazed at how well this little mop works and with all its attachments, there is not much that can hide from my steaming frenzy.

I like cleaning with steam because not only is it just water, so it is natural and safe, but it is extremely effective while killing germs. You can add a little vinegar in with the water to get that little extra boost of cleaning power and use it to clean the machine when it gets mineral build up. Did you know that steam cleaning your bed can kill dust mites without using harsh chemicals? I have heard how great steam cleaning is but I keep finding more and more benefits.

The Steamfast SF-294 three-in-one steam mop has for features:
  • Adjustable, Detachable Telescopic Pole
  • Easy-Stick Microfiber Pad (attaches with 2 velcro strips on the back)
  • Extra-Long 19 Ft. Cord Assures Easy Portability
  • Steam Control Dial Controls Steam Intensity
  • Versatile Cleaning Power Without Chemicals
Steamfast has definitely been making a spash in the field of steam cleaning and earned recognition from both the Wall Street Journal and Good Housekeeping for the best overall steam cleaners. Now, let me show you....

First off, let me show you some spots in my car. The first picture is a spot of ink that was on my visor over my drivers seat. A pen must have exploded up there, honestly I don't remember lol but I do know that it was definitely ink. Here is the before and after photos of when I steam cleaned it.

Next are some coffee stains where a coffee was spilled in the front passenger seat and dripped down the back. The result in these pictures speaks loudly!

I was a little absent minded and did not take a before picture of this faucet, but I brought the Steamfast steam mop over to my friends house where her kids had spray painted on the sink faucet and wrote on the walls in magic marker. The circle shows where I still had spray paint left but the arrow points out how it came off. It took a bit of time but eventually it sort of just peeled up with the jet nozzle attachment.

I apologize this video is so fuzzy. My friend was recording it for me and she is not familiar with my camera. If you zoom in too close the quality stinks. The below video is showing the Steamfast steam mop cleaning magic marker off the walls with the jet nozzle attachment. I took the canister off the mop and turned it into an easy to use hand held steamer. You can search on youtube and see this steam cleaner being used in different ways.

Now, I have read many reviews on this mop to see what others were saying and I found a few that were either completely unhappy or had some complaints. I would like to tackle some of them. First off, to say that this mop is completely useless, even though it is an opinion that someone has a right to, I think that that statement is ridiculous. I have not stopped finding uses for this mop. The complaints about the cord not being long enough or not having an easy way to wind it to put the mop away were valid but this mop has updated features. It was plenty long enough for me (it won't reach real large kitchens) but honestly then you will have too much cord to wrap up. The clips that hold the cord could be larger. This is a valid irritation but whatever. I'm not going to gripe about that when this has become my best friend in the house work department. One thing I want to say is that it was kind of frustrating at times when the steam went in and out. I found out through the manual that when you mix vinegar in the water and let it run through it may help. It did and worked fine after.

As excited as I am about having one of these babies... I am even more excited to be giving one away! One extremely lucky reader will get a Steamfast SF-294 three-in-one steam mop for themselves! You will get the mop and all its attachments (everything you see in the above picture) so you can do garments, windows and hard to reach places. Use the rafflecopter below to enter and good luck!
