It was too early for me to think of Christmas when the decorations came out. I mean, they didn't even wait till Halloween was done this year! 2 days before I saw them kick the costumes out of the seasonal aisle and put the Christmas in. I have had my own set since May and I can not say enough about them. They are candles that burn at a really low temperature and the wax turns into a lovely massage oil. It doesn't at all feel greasy, actually it feels kind of powdery when it is absorbed in. You don't need to wash anything off and it actually is good for your skin as well. The scents are just amazing and true to what they are supposed to be.
The sampler comes with 6 different scents... my favorites being Truffle and Gardenia, Pink Lotus and Dark Vanilla... but the others are really great too. The grapefruit definitely smells just like the fruit and lingers a while. My husband loves it.
If you wanted a great universal gift, give the Afterglow sampler some thought. They don't have to be used for massages. They are decorative and can be smelled in several rooms when they are lit. Also, the only one that seems to bother my allergies (which are sensitive to diffusers and things) is the Bourbon. It is on the musky side.
This is an elegant choice and will most definitely be loved :) Even though it may seem a little pricey, it is definitely worth every penny!
